AutoScheduler Launches Warehouse App Builder for Logistics Teams

AutoScheduler Launches Warehouse App Builder for Logistics Teams

AutoScheduler has launched its warehouse app builder to enable logistics teams to create custom tools directly from live facility data. The new software module is part of the company’s broader Warehouse AI platform, which serves distribution centers that balance inventory, machinery and labor.

Distribution centers routinely rely on rigid warehouse management and enterprise resource planning packages. When operational issues arise between these huge platforms, plant managers often resort to manual spreadsheets or unrecorded personnel routines. Site planners can now assemble specific software routines in simple language. This capability avoids long commercial software release cycles and overloaded enterprise IT queues.

Keith Moore, CEO of AutoScheduler, said: “Warehouses run massive systems that are expensive and slow to customize, so operators fill the gaps with spreadsheets, business intelligence tools, local tools and tribal knowledge.

“People who see problems every day can now solve them, creating applications from live warehouse data, backed by real optimization math, in a matter of days. We continue to orchestrate all the systems within the building; now we also give the floor the tools to solve everything else.”

Connecting semantic models with warehouse solvers

Instead of relying on broad, unstructured language models to guess logistics logic, the environment sits on an operational semantic layer built over six years of distribution operations.

That layer maps the relationships between warehouse management systems, labor management records, yard software and automated machinery. Mathematical solvers interpret user requests and convert plain text messages into live monitoring dashboards, predictive trackers, and automated tasks.

The system writes verified instructions directly to the central management software for plant execution. Operators have already created applications targeting wave sequencing, replenishment triggers, and dock crossing assignment priorities. Other implementations track dock door schedule compliance, on-time performance, and production schedules.

Because the framework runs on a unified infrastructure alongside existing tools like ‘Daily Plan’, ‘Wave Planner’, ‘Network Scoreboard’ and ‘Warehouse AI Agent’, sites avoid setting up separate data pipelines for each project.

Kunj Pandya, Director of Product and Customer Success at AutoScheduler, explained: “Anyone can point AI at a warehouse. The difference is that our semantic layer already knows what the data means in WMS, ERP and work systems, and every application created can draw on optimization solvers tested on nearly 100 sites.”

Field Deployments Demonstrate Rapid Results

Early deployments indicate rapid operational changes in industrial distribution networks. Site staff created a working app in less than 15 minutes during an initial workshop.

Another facility planner independently devised a replenishment tracking tool that verified substantial operational gains within a fortnight. That single implementation generated verified operational savings large enough to justify a six-figure annual operational allocation from facility management.

Production teams at an international consumer brand validated the practical impact on daily communications and schedule compliance.

A planner at a global food and beverage company said: “The AutoScheduler App Builder feature is one of the best software and AI integrations I’ve seen yet. It helps bridge one of the biggest challenges in software development: the gap between understanding a business problem and turning that knowledge into a practical digital solution.

“By using App Builder, we have been able to bring important data directly to our decision-making locations, change workflows, close information gaps, and significantly accelerate the flow of information between different stakeholders.”

AI App Builder has entered general commercial availability across the vendor’s entire customer base. AutoScheduler is coupling the software implementation with technical specialists deployed to assist customers’ engineering groups during the initial build of their applications.
