Tech Mahindra launches Build with Gemini to over 12,500 associates – Unite.AI

Tech Mahindra announced on October 6, 2026 an expansion of its AI readiness through its partnership with Google Cloud, expanding Gemini Enterprise’s hands-on capabilities across its global workforce with a workshop program reaching more than 12,500 associates worldwide.

Expansion of the preparation

Tech Mahindra, a provider of AI-powered digital transformation solutions and technology consultancy to businesses across industries, said the increased availability is aimed at supporting growing business demand for production-ready AI. The company said its scale availability combines trained and certified talent with reusable industry solutions, manufacturing deployment experience and a growing portfolio of AI solutions and agents. According to the company, this combination is designed to help customers move from AI experimentation to implementation and adoption.

Build with Gemini Workshop

A key element of the expansion is Build with Gemini, a hands-on Google Cloud workshop that Tech Mahindra is offering to more than 12,500 associates worldwide. Designed as an immersive event, the workshop will allow participants to learn how to create, secure and govern AI agents using Gemini Enterprise tools and solutions, including Agent Runtime, Agent Gateway and Model Armor. Tech Mahindra said participants develop practical skills that can be applied directly to customer engagements. Associates who complete the workshop earn a Google Cloud Competency Badge, which the company says further strengthens the talent base supporting its delivery capabilities.

Pramod Panda, Chief Learning Officer at Tech Mahindra, said: “Enterprise AI will only expand when organizations can combine technological innovation with the talent and delivery capability needed to put it into production.” Panda said the companies are building this capability by combining Gemini Enterprise’s hands-on expertise with industry solutions, agents and real-world implementation experience, an effort that he said strengthens Tech Mahindra’s ability to help customers move more quickly from AI ambitions to measurable outcomes consistent with its AI Delivered Right approach.

Portfolio and implementation experience

Tech Mahindra’s expanding portfolio includes industry-specific solutions available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, which the company says enables customers to accelerate enterprise AI adoption with features designed for real-world business environments. According to the company, the expansion builds on the company’s experience deploying Gemini Enterprise in complex enterprise environments and industry-specific agent AI solutions developed in telecommunications, financial services, manufacturing, retail and other industries.

Kelly Rogan, Vice President of Global System Integrators Partnerships at Google Cloud, said companies are quickly moving from AI experimentation to deployment, a stage where she said industry expertise and solid engineering matter most. “With the scalability of Gemini Enterprise, Tech Mahindra provides its global teams with the tools to build, deploy and govern agentic AI solutions,” Rogan said, adding that the companies are helping joint customers accelerate innovation and drive business value with Google Cloud.

Strategic context and previous collaboration with Gemini

The workshop program fits into Tech Mahindra’s broader AI Delivered Right strategy, which the company describes as an enterprise approach to AI designed to help organizations move from experimentation to impact and translate investments in AI into measurable results. The strategy is anchored on four pillars: productivity, transformation, innovation and guarantee. On its strategy page, Tech Mahindra names TechM agentX and co-pilot TechM as key offerings in Productivity Delivered and describes Makers Lab, its innovation hub, in Innovation Delivered. Under Assurance Delivered, the company said it is building trust, security and compliance into its AI solutions, with platforms featuring built-in controls for data privacy, model drift and bias detection.

The expansion of readiness follows a Dec. 18, 2025 announcement in which Tech Mahindra said it plans to accelerate enterprise adoption of Gemini Enterprise using Google’s Gemini 2.5 multimodal models. The previous release stated that the collaboration combines the company’s implementation expertise, AI-first engineering talent, and TechM Orion framework with Google Cloud’s AI capabilities, and that Gemini Enterprise would enable the creation of specialized AI agents, incorporate governance and security barriers, and integrate with the Google Cloud ecosystem, including the Vertex AI platform, Google BigQuery, and advanced data-to-AI pipelines. That release identified Tech Mahindra as a Google Cloud Premier Partner and cited its dedicated Centers of Excellence, a portfolio of ready-to-deploy agentic AI solutions, and a pool of certified talent expert in Google Cloud AI technologies.

Tech Mahindra said the expansion strengthens its focus on working with Google Cloud to help companies develop the skills, solutions and delivery capacity needed to move AI from experimentation to large-scale production.
