Cerillion 26.2 extends AI from customer support to churn prediction – Unite.AI
Cerillion announced the general availability of Cerillion 26.2 on November 4, 2026, adding artificial intelligence capabilities to its pre-integrated BSS/OSS suite for communications service providers. The release includes customer support, service configuration, competitor-aware package design, and churn prediction.
The additions cover work typically split between support, product and loyalty teams. They sit within the pre-integrated suite, along with the catalog, promotions, and configuration workflows they are intended to support, while central governance and connections to external AI systems form the underlying deployment layer.
New AI features across the suite
For customer support, the new customer support agent retrieves the necessary customer and service details during a request and advises on how to proceed. Cerillion says the agent is intended to make support faster and more consistent while reducing the training needed to bring new users onto the system.
A second agent handles a broader range of complex service and system configuration work. Cerillion says the Service Configuration Agent reduces hands-on effort and reliance on expert knowledge, speeding up the introduction of new services and network integrations.
Product teams can also use information about competing offerings when catalog agent tools design packages. Cerillion says competitively aware packaging is intended to accelerate responses to market changes and help differentiate the resulting propositions within the company’s product catalogue.
Predictive churn applies artificial intelligence and machine learning models to identify customers most at risk of churn. Cerillion said the models have proven extremely effective in customer pilots; their scores provide timely information on loyalty risk and support targeted campaigns and offers through the promotions engine.
Governance and interoperability
The release’s agent functions are based on AI Management Center, Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server, and Agent2Agent Server. The management center governs models centrally, while the MCP server provides controlled access to Cerillion’s open APIs via Progressive Discovery. Agent2Agent Server coordinates multi-step workflows between agents and systems. Operators can adopt Cerillion’s AI, integrate existing internal or third-party AI investments, or combine the approaches.
The company’s AI Hub defines how external systems join that environment. Approved external agents can discover and invoke Cerillion capabilities via open APIs and ODAs with targeted permissions and human approvals where required. Operators decide which tools and data agents they can access, with policy-based approvals and audit trails governing their execution. External template options include ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Azure AI.
The architecture is older than this version. Cerillion 26.1, announced on April 29, 2026, introduced communication and coordination between agents, building on the AI agents and MCP server from the previous version. Its Progressive Discovery design allows agents to discover relevant data and services as workflows develop, providing a shared context for coordinated activities across systems.
Catalogue, Refill and Certifications
The release also changes the core operational products. The Enterprise Product Catalog dynamic catalog workspace presents complex structures of products, packages, and prices in a grid so product teams can compare and update them at scale, applying changes directly within that view.
The convergent charging system adds a native NCHF interface for 5G autonomous charging. REST-based and Diameter-based charging interfaces can coexist in the same implementation, allowing operators to migrate to standalone 5G while still supporting hybrid networks.
The company product catalog has received the certification of the ODA components of the TM Forum for the management of the product catalog. Cerillion has added 15 TM Forum Real World Open API certifications since 26.1, bringing the total to 47 for seven customers. The company says this is higher than any other independent BSS/OSS vendor.
For operators, the practical value of the release is based on regulated execution in that environment. Additions to AI broaden the work that can be automated, while authorizations, human approvals and audit trails define how automation is controlled across Cerillion and external systems.
