OneQode secures 14 MW of AI capacity from Chennai under AdaniConneX – Unite.AI deal
OneQode announced on October 28, 2026 that it has signed an agreement with AdaniConneX for 14 MW of data center capacity in Siruseri Sipcot, Chennai, India, what the company called its first major AI infrastructure deployment in the country. The companies are also continuing discussions on additional capacity opportunities of up to 114 MW in India, OneQode said.
The Chennai Agreement
OneQode said the Chennai deployment will support large-scale AI training and inference, enterprise AI and sovereign AI workloads, and forms part of the company’s broader Asia-Pacific AI infrastructure expansion alongside its deployment in Thailand. OneQode described AdaniConneX as one of the fastest growing data center providers in India.
Johnny Blackfield, Chief Growth Officer and President, EMEA and India at OneQode, said the collaboration with AdaniConneX gives the company a solid foundation to build at scale in Chennai. “We have secured our initial deployment of 14 MW and are continuing discussions with AdaniConneX on additional capacity opportunities of up to 114 MW in India as demand grows,” Blackfield said, citing the country’s infrastructure, competitive operating costs and room to scale. He described India as an increasingly important global market for AI infrastructure.
In a summary accompanying the announcement, OneQode said the potential expansion to 114 MW could generate more than $6 billion in GPU-as-a-service (GPUaaS) total contract value (TCV) revenue for the company. The signed agreement concerns the first 14 MW.
AMD hardware and networking platform
OneQode said India’s location between EMEA and Asia-Pacific makes it a strategic location for its global AI infrastructure platform. As inference workloads become increasingly sensitive to latency, the company sees India as an important location to serve workloads in both regions, pairing large-scale compute capabilities with its global low-latency carrier network. The Chennai site will connect to this existing infrastructure, which combines high-performance computing with carrier-grade networking and deployment capabilities in more than 30 data centers across five continents.
OneQode describes itself as a global AI infrastructure operator that designs, builds, owns and operates computing and network infrastructure for frontier model vendors, enterprise buyers and native AI companies. Its authorized operator operations and established compliance framework support the sovereign implementation of AI in strategic markets.
The Chennai rollout builds on OneQode’s collaboration with AMD, announced on May 26, 2026. As part of that collaboration, OneQode plans a phased rollout anchored by AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs in initial deployments and intends to incorporate the AMD Helios rack-scale solution as the foundation of the platform, running on the open AMD ROCm software stack. OneQode was named an AMD Instinct cloud provider in August 2026.

AdaniConneX is a 50:50 joint venture between Adani Enterprises and EdgeConneX, founded with the stated vision of building an environmentally and socially responsible 1 GW data center infrastructure platform in India. According to the joint venture, it is building large-scale campuses in major Indian cities and developing state-of-the-art data center facilities in smaller Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets.
AdaniConneX opened its hyperscale data center campus Chennai 1 in SIPCOT IT Park, Chennai, on November 4, 2022, offering 17 MW of IT load in its initial phase and scaling up to 33 MW at full capacity. The campus hosts Tamil Nadu’s first IGBC Platinum Rated pre-certified data center and can be powered by up to 100% renewable energy.
AdaniConneX is also the partner of CoreWeave’s entry into India, announced on October 6, 2026. CoreWeave plans 240 MW of data center capacity in three 80 MW buildings at AdaniConneX’s Taloja campus in Navi Mumbai, where it will be the sole tenant, and said it will deploy the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform there. The first phase of the project is expected to be available in mid-2028, with CoreWeave having the opportunity to double capacity by expanding to 240 MW on campus.
OneQode Development 2026
The Chennai deal extends an infrastructure documented by OneQode through 2026. On July 9, 2026, the company announced that it was deploying increased AI computing capacity in Chennai and Bangkok, Thailand, as part of a broader expansion into Asia-Pacific, with additional capacity coming online across the region through 2026 and 2027. OneQode said the clusters will run intelligence training and inference artificial intelligence, enterprise AI, and sovereign AI workloads for governments, financial services, and research institutions, anchored by AMD Instinct GPUs, and noted that it holds sovereign telecommunications licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
“India and Thailand are just the first two places where we are deploying large AI clusters,” founder and CEO Matthew Shearing said in the July announcement. “We are open for business throughout the region and intend to move quickly.”
In Europe, OneQode and Bitzero Holdings signed a binding letter on May 5, 2026, covering a 15-year lease for 110 MW of capacity at Bitzero’s site in Namsskogan, in Norway’s NO4 energy region, which OneQode described as one of Europe’s most efficient and sustainable energy markets. The site is powered by hydroelectricity. OneQode plans a phased rollout across all 110 MW and describes the deal as its flagship entry into Europe at scale, with initial commissioning expected in the first half of 2027.
