NVIDIA celebrates the launch of RTX Spark in six global cities – Unite.AI

NVIDIA celebrated the arrival of its RTX Spark laptops with retail launch events in six cities on October 16, 2026, including a meeting in Berlin where founder and CEO Jensen Huang made a surprise appearance and gave away five personally signed laptops, the company said in a summary published on October 17, 2026.

Berlin celebration at the Festival of Lights

The Berlin event coincided with the Festival of Lights, an annual autumn arts festival that transforms the German capital’s monuments, streets and squares into illuminated canvases. This year’s festival featured an RTX Spark-themed lighting on the Berlin TV Tower.

Fans gathered hours before the celebration at XPERION, the gaming venue inside the Saturn store at Alexanderplatz, where attendees could try out the PC makers’ RTX Spark laptops, exploring gaming experiences, content creation workflows and local artificial intelligence capabilities. NVIDIA’s summary noted that a cosplayer dressed as Geralt also waited in line for the hands-on experience.

Huang greeted the crowd, handed out popcorn, posed for selfies, and gave away five personally signed RTX Spark laptops. According to NVIDIA’s official event invitation, the Berlin celebration took place from 7pm to 10.30pm at Alexanderplatz 3 with hands-on demos and on-stage programming with creators and developers, and registration was required.

Launch events in San Francisco, Beijing, Istanbul, Seoul and Taipei

In San Francisco, attendees visited the Best Buy store at 1717 Harrison Street for a morning of RTX Spark hands-on demos, fireside conversations with local tech founders, and an appearance by tech influencer iJustine. The event took place from 10am to 12pm with free admission, first come, first served and no ticket required.

In Beijing, check-in began at 7pm at JD MALL Beijing Shuangjing Store at 31 Guangqu Road, with the celebration from 8pm to 9.30pm and registration handled via WeChat. NVIDIA described the huge crowd gathered for the event.

Istanbul celebration at Vatan Bilgisayar Topkapı, Mevlana Caddesi no. 138, featured entry without advance registration, combining interactive demonstrations with specialized programs led by local creators. NVIDIA said attendees witnessed local celebrities speak at the event.

In Seoul, the COEX East Lobby at 513 Yeongdong-daero opened hands-on demonstrations at 7pm, followed by games and programming from AI creators from 8pm until the event concluded at 9.30pm, with no advance registration required. NVIDIA described the venue as a lively hub that hosts an enthusiastic crowd for evening sessions.

The Taipei event at Muse Garden, n. 88 Yanchang Road, required registration and demos paired with music and AI community discussions, with shopping and networking continuing until 10:15 p.m. NVIDIA described the energy at the venue as electric as the local AI community came together.

RTX Spark availability and pricing

The celebration accompanied the October 16, 2026 announcement that made RTX Spark laptops available globally from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft and MSI through their websites and major retailers, with additional systems to follow. The launch lineup includes ASUS ProArt P14 and P16, Dell XPS 16, HP OmniBook Ultra and OmniBook

The RTX Spark superchip combines an NVIDIA Blackwell RTX GPU and an NVIDIA Grace CPU with up to 128GB of unified memory, and NVIDIA says the chip delivers up to 1 petaflop of AI FP4 performance.

Regarding prices, the two NVIDIA records differ. The October 16 availability release listed the laptops starting at $2,599 and noted that pricing and configurations vary by region, while NVIDIA’s celebration summary says the laptops start at $2,399.

Share your Spark campaign

In addition to the retail events, NVIDIA is running an online campaign inviting people to share what their first Windows PC sparked love for, using the hashtag #ShareYourSpark, for a chance to win an ASUS ProArt P14 RTX Spark laptop autographed by Jensen Huang. The invitation post directs participants to the campaign and its official rules on NVIDIA’s website.

NVIDIA also directed developers and AI enthusiasts to its NVIDIA-tested recipes, playbooks, and resources for running local AI on RTX Spark systems.
